Clothes & Crayons for Kids' Event Day is a Saturday in August where children and their families come to North Central to select backpacks, pick up school supplies, gently-used clothing, and receive one new outfit purchased specifically for them. Lunch is provided for everyone and the children enjoy a special carnival while parents are selecting gently-used clothing.

Clothes and Crayons for Kids ministry is a volunteer-only supported ministry. Every donation goes directly to help local children in need. It is a unique faith-based program that fills a need in this community that many charitable organizations miss. And what makes this program even more special is Event Day ... an opportunity to share God's love with the children and their families and show them someone cares.

Mittens & Toys for Girls & Boys
ministry invites these families back in
December. Each child receives two
toys, (for many this is all the presents
they will receive for Christmas) Children have fun making crafts and parents are given a box of non-perishable foods.


A community drive is under way for the month of July, collecting gently-used clothing sizes infants through adults. You may drop-off your donations at North Central church located at 9015 Westfield Blvd., Indianpolis. If you need someone to pick up your donation please call us at 317.846.8166, ext 43 to schedule a pick-up.
