The mission of Clothes & Crayons for Kids is to share the blessings of God's generosity with those who struggle financially and spiritually.


We seek to be used by God to further his kingdom in our local community. Our goal is to live by God's Word in Hebrews 13:16: "Do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased."

North Central Church of Christ is home to Clothes & Crayons for Kids Ministry.

In 1998, North Central members took a leap of faith in starting Clothes & Crayons for Kids ministry. This faith-based program that has helped so many children over the years, is the result of many prayers and hard work. The ministry began with a search to identify and reach those in need in North Central church's own community. It is through the generosity of North Central members, neighbors, local businesses and community that this program continues to grow and serve so many children and families.

"We prayed for God to provide opportunity for us to help more children ... to open the right doors, with the right people, the right resources and willing hearts to help," Kathy Litzkow says.

"Our petition came quietly in one of our Clothes & Crayons for Kids planning and prayer sessions. Debbie Brehm and I each prayed for God to bless this ministry, and I think we had on our hearts to ask for bigger and better things for this work."
